The
Knight’s Errant (Fortitude) You
cannot stop us
Based
out of the Benediction Church in Oldtown, the Knight’s Errant are a
group of people who have banded together to protect others in Oldtown.
They are the reason why Oldtown doesn’t have more crime than its
counterpart in other cities. The
Knight’s Errant are recognizable by their clothes, a mesh shirt in the
summer and a trench coat for colder conditions.
Both have the symbol of St. George fighting the Dragon on it.
The
Knight’s Errant enjoy free non-alcoholic drinks from the bars and the
support from the bouncers there. They
are always willing to escort people to and from their cars so long as
you’re willing to listen to them speak about faith and the Benediction
Church. They fight with batons and stun guns and when a fight does break out, you rarely fight one Knight. If they call for back up, you’re dealing with up to a dozen on any given night. Lost

The Cult
The Lost Finders are a non-profit organization that scours the city
looking for those who go missing. They
have enough donations to have almost 10 full time members and 40 part time
employees. The Lost Finders
have gotten some flak in the past because they don’t always work within
the law to find missing persons. They
don’t get into fights like the Knight’s Errant or the Crusaders, but
they are willing to break into places and invade people’s privacy in
order to find people.
They are getting further flak from the police, because some people
are turning to the Lost Finders for help without reporting missing people
to the police. Crusaders

The Crusaders represent a group that walks on a knife’s edge.
They are vigilantes who dispense justice throughout the city.
They claim that they have no backing, but it’s a good bet that a
group like this is being funded by somebody.
The Redemption Church and the Robin Foundation have both been
suspected in the past but all allegations have never been proven.
The Crusaders do a lot of good in the city but they that good
well outside the law. They
seem to understand that once they join, there is no going back.
In this way, they are very much like a cult.
Because of their secrecy, they are extremely hard to contact. Burning

The
Burning Fell gang is one of the serious blights of the city.
They are a quasi- religious group who
vacillate between support for
the Church of Satan and the Neo-nazi White Supremacist cause.
Their slogans are bizarre and disturbing.
They claim that humanity is the spoiled children who were corrupted
by fallen angels of the past. Because
the angels corrupted mankind, it is a lost cause and needs to be punished.
Whether they believe in all this nonsense, they spread hate crimes
and promote violence and suffering. Although
countless members have been arrested by the police and locked away for
various heinous crimes, they keep coming back.
Once, in a public letter to the media, they claimed that they were
the Hydra. The claim of cutting off one head and more coming forth along
with references of the Beast and the Dragon link them to the Church of
Satan. The Crusaders and the Burning Fell seem to be natural enemies.
